What is

Biofuels are made from biomass and are a sustainable alternative to fossil fuel. We aim to accelerate the transition to fossil-free transport by co-developing and commercializing truly sustainable alternatives for fossil fuels. Your cargo ship or truck won't notice the difference, but the world will.

From pollution to a sustainable solution

There is more than one kind of biofuel. We produce all our biofuels from certified feedstock that is labelled a waste or residue. Think of forest-residues and used cooking oil. There are no land-use issues and no competition with food production or deforestation.

A great example of our work is the introduction of worlds’ first sustainable drop-in Bio-Fuel Oil. This fuel directly replaces one of the dirtiest fuel mankind invented by a clean, sulphur and carbon-free fuel. Currently, our Innovation team is working hard to scale supply as fast as they can - but without any compromise to our strict sustainability goals or quality.

Truly sustainable

No competition with food
Our sustainable biofuels are produced solely from waste-based feedstocks like used cooking oil.
No land-use issues
No agricultural expansion is or was needed to produce our feedstocks, directly nor indirectly.
No deforestation
We make sure no forests are cut down for our fuels and keep biodiversity intact.
